AudienceMaker leverages GIS interface to help users build audiences with the goal of better visualizing, understanding, and interpreting real-time business data.
Inside AudienceMaker, users will be able to tap into the following:
- Consumer Marketing Data
- Life Event Triggers
- Strategic Planning
- Analytics Tools
These tools provide insight into their target audience.
Filter Types
AudienceMaker uses two filtering systems within the platform to build audiences:
- Simple Filters
- Complex Filters
Filters are the heart of AudienceMaker and how you define your target audience.
Simple Filters are additive, meaning that every filter chosen within a filter widget or with multiple widgets are added together and then subtracted (filtered) out of the total available audience count.
Complex filters have more logic and nesting of filtering rules, so you can create powerful AND/OR/NOT filters that are then subtracted (filtered) from the total audience count.
These two types of filters can’t be used together in the same audience, but Complex filters have the ability to recreate simple filters. If simple filters are already set up, they will be converted to complex filters when clicking the DEFINE COMPLEX FILTERS button on the +FILTER panel within the EXPLORER section.
